help, my friends and I can't play in multiplayer

i need help, my friends and i have tried to play chicken invaders but the host button “join mission” is grayed out and we all have the nat port cone restricted. to add each of my friends and i have tried to host and the same thing happens to us but we can play through a public game of unknown players but at a ping of over 500 ms and it is not the gaming experience we want.

Thats because you are playing with players who are really far away. play with people who are closer to you

impossible, my friends and I live about 20 km away, and we can play with people on the other side of the world.

If you join some public games, your ping will be scaling as much as the distance between you and the host. Even if you and your friend don’t live far apart, the host may live in other side of the globe.
