I was browsing through some cache files on the InterAction dev site (don’t ask how lol) and I stumbled upon some metadata for the upcoming v.160 patch. I wish I was joking, but it looks like the game is about to become a massive cash grab.
Basically, they are introducing a “Monthly Galaxy Pass”. If you don’t pay, you’ll be locked out of any system that isn’t in the starting zone. And get this: our hard-earned keys? They’re being “depreciated.” New gear will require a different type of key that you basically have to buy with real money.
I’m honestly fuming right now. I’ve spent way too many hours on this game for them to just lock everything behind a paywall. I managed to screen-grab the internal pricing table before the page got 404’d.
