The weapon can be pre-selected, however in the general case the background cannot, because certain episodes switch dynamically (e.g. CI4). For uniformity’s sake I’ve left “automatic” for all episodes, even though there is only one background used.

It will make more sense for other episodes, where there are many more weapons and they don’t drop from the beginning. Again, uniformity.

Due to a bug it wasn’t. Already fixed.

That’s a question of reducing the prices, not causing more keys to drop. I’d rather keep the same key prices across all episodes, so I’ll do a balancing pass once the other episodes are out.

That’s not meant to be visible.

It’s already in there, but it’s disabled in CI2 because all weapons are available from the start anyway.

It’s not, but it’s uniform (some unlockables have more than on/off). Plus, this way you get to see a description of the “on” setting (even if you can’t set it to “on” yet).

There’s a weird network issue that kills the connection between my BETA server and the database approx once a day. It’s not worth my time to investigate.
