eh the lightning only comes to you after you get hit by the ball and now the ball doesnt kill you
I have some more coherent variations of the idea.
The chicken throws (either at random or upon death) an electric ball which overheats the ship and is tied by electricity to other balls which form if you get hit and prolong the overheat if you don’t move away. Sort of like a certain attack in Star Defenders 3 that the player can use.
Or, the ball causes a lightning to strike (with a brief warning) when it hits you.
I also suggested the idea of electro-chicken!
