I, for one, keep two units of each weapon, one stock and one fully upgraded. For two reasons:

  1. testing
  2. for fun when playing easy missions

This may sound quite assoholic, but this problem can be solved by having eyes. The buttons at the bottom refer to the selected item. A simple bit of logic that shouldn’t be much impacted by the player’s level of familiarity with English or other such factors.

It’s a starter weapon which you are supposed to leave as fast as possible.

why IA don’t make mods an how to make mods?

Actually, do add the weekly weapon training. It’ll actually be quite interesting.

Or it could be a separate gamemode

Also, this is meant for testing weapons in certain situations, not to be toyed around with.

Create them for yourself, no one is gonna give their private mod

Nah, forget about someone giving you a mod. Just enjoy the game like a normal person without any mods.

This will limit customisation, testing and would be a bad key sink feature.

Spacecrafts should grant gameplay variety only. Not limit your weaponary
