CIU version 159

MAIN CHANGES

This is a minor maintenance release. Several changes are related to enhanced keyboard/gamepad navigation.


Bug/Idea medals will be awarded later in the day. Note that your medal cannot be awarded if your in-game callsign doesn’t match your forum name (put it in your forum profile where it says “name” so I can find it).

  • :gear: Deleted users who haven’t logged in during the past week and have less than 10 minutes of playtime, and also users who haven’t logged in during the past 4 weeks and have less than an hour of playtime, and also users who haven’t logged in during the last 12 months and haven’t set an e-mail. Note that users with any purchase are never
    deleted.

  • :gear: Reworked how “Ignore all joypads” is handled.

  • :gear: Keyboard/joypad menu navigation: Mouse pointer is now hidden. Current selection is indicated by pulsing glow instead. Newly hovering over UI elements causes them to wobble.

  • :gear: Translations: CONTROLSHINT changed.

  • :gear: Translations: “Joypad” references changed to “gamepad”

  • :bulb: Episode 1: Added movement/firing tutorial text to first wave (to match all other episodes)

  • :bulb: Moved “high-contrast text” from Graphics to Gameplay → Accessibility

  • :gear: Keyboard/joypad menu navigation: Initialized bSpaceshipFollowsCursor appropriately to prevent spaceship from flying to top of screen when starting mission.

  • :bug: HSB editing: Corrected overlap between text and sliders when using certain fonts. Controls to increase/decrease are now shown whenever editing.

  • :gear: Keyboard/joypad menu navigation: Hotspots now have dimensions (avoids cases where wide UI elements would be counter-intuitively skipped over)

  • :bulb: Keyboard/joypad navigation: Spacecraft is now placed halfway down the screen when mission starts (previously was center of screen)

  • :gear: Added “Kenney Input Prompts” TTF with Xbox input icons. Replaced key descriptions with icon equivalents.

  • :bug: Planetary rings now use repeatable RNG (@Pinanas :sports_medal: Bug)

  • :light_bulb: Removed Christmas Party.

  • :gear: Compiled with VS 17.14.27

  • :gear: Strengthened anti-cheat measures (Mother-Hen 4) (@Pinanas :sports_medal: Bug)

  • :gear: Backported ContextManager::areControlsForQuittingPressed().

  • :gear: Backported from Xbox: ProfileManager is now a pointer.

  • :gear: .OPT file is now saved per-device (was previously “on the cloud”)

  • :bug: Multiplayer games no longer count as “paused” while viewing a cutscene.

  • :gear: Removed curly quotes from WAVEBIRTHDAY and WAVEKITES

  • :gear: Android: Compiled with NDK r29

And in Medals too while click to it

And Clicking Callsign contact in Galactic Cup

There should be a slider for Exhaust Additive Magic because this jump is very sudden

That’s not how the additive blending works. The filter just sums up the color channel to the max.

For example it red + green = yellow, if you want in between, adjust the colors.

Can this work if there are boxes (as shown below) that sums to 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%?

Not sure how will sum with a percent, you mean divide (amount of summed color) / percentage? This may work. However I found a better way to decrease the additive blending.

Just make the inner exhaust color darker.
