This will definitely be the case for the stand-alone “Seasons”. Still unsure about CI2U-CI5U, though.

CI4U meaning “CI4 dlc in CIU?” Then it should use waves exactly like they are in CIU.

Your new standalone season remaster CI4? It should be faithful to the original.

Same logic applies here:
stand-alone = just like in the original
episode DLC = allows to use everything available to use in CIU
