The eyes target your location, so it can’t be a fixed danger zone. But you only need to slightly step back to avoid them (or not at all, if you are already at the bottom).
But I did make them slower in 136.2.

The tell is that you die. Seriously, there’s no other good solution. They can’t block your bullets, otherwise they would make the fight much harder.

Well, currently difficulty already affects the speed of virtually all attacks.
I prefer that because it makes a clear distinction between danger/safety, even if visually it looks a bit odd.
Perhaps, but I thought it would be a nice little bonus for taking the time to destroy the eyes.

Incidentally, health is also greatly affected by how easy an enemy is to hit. The reason why big end bosses have so much more health is partially because they’re so big that you can fire blindly and all your shots will still land.

i’ll note that weaknesses/strengths usually apply to the entire group (so all weapons in there), i don’t think it’s possible to choose specific weapons from a group without moving them over to a separate group
maybe add a barbecue sauce as an extra sauce in higher difficultys.
So, I got a bit of an idea:
What if, breaking BOTH eyes, makes the boss unable to aim straight anymore?
Most attacks now start with an angle deviation up to 5 degrees if you destroy both eyes. This is signified through the boss shaking like it does when near death.
This means the blowtorches now start initially with the angle deviation stated above.
The sauce attacks, and the griller, are not affected.
The roasts now have a potential angle deviation each time they’re shot. Might catch you off guard. The chickens being vacuumed will also come from closer to the walls to give you more space to dodge this more comfortably.
The “idiot sandwich” move may be aimed slightly more to the top or bottom, of where you initially were.
