I know the banners could be annoying at times but they just do a similar job to ads - which only appear on mobile platforms.
Ads work in a form of direct profit, that’s how devs get money from f2p users.
While those banners (replacing ads on non-ad platforms like Steam and standalone) simply recommend you to perform micro-transactions instead.
