You do realize you might get hacked if you reveal your email address online, yes?
You can only use Ion Blaster for the whole mission, you cannot pick other gifts.
When it comes to weapon specific missions, you must have the weapon equipped to your ship as the starting weapon and must use it throughout the mission. You can collect Atoms as well as the same present that grants that weapon.
