Android v.155.5.1 preview

I’m about to release an update to CIU for Android that adds the missing Summer content. With this opportunity, I’ve also made some changes required by Google. Specifically:

  • Targets Android 16.0 (API 36)

  • Compiled with 16KB page size (ELF alignment)

  • Compiled with new SDK/NDK and new BASS library.

Due to these changes, I need some brave recruits to test this release before going public.

:warning: Keep in mind that:

  • This is only for 64-bit Android devices

  • If you have the Google Play version installed, you might get a message about incompatible digital signatures when trying to install this one. In this case, first uninstall the Google Play version.

  • Purchases will NOT work on this version.

If this version works for you, please post underneath saying so. And, it goes without saying, that if something goes wrong, post it here as well.

Just tested this version and I didn’t find any problems with it. Everything looks normal.

:warning:

v.155.5.1 will crash during multiplayer Droid Raid missions.

The crash will occur whenever a v.155.5.1 host plays together with v.155.5.0 guests, or vice versa.

I have uploaded v.155.5.2 to Google Play which should fix this problem. It should become available within the next 24 hours. Please upgrade to it as soon as possible.

Note that, even if you yourself are using v.155.5.2 , you game will still crash if you connect to an not-yet-upgraded v.155.5.1 host.
