for plot reasons youre the 25th descendant of the authentic hero, who is revealed to be the founder of the UHF forces. UHF was terminated just a few decades ago due to budget cuts and due to the people not seeing an incentive to defend galaxy U from external threats that have been wholly exterminated by 2271.
