I was casually playing a mission while using Corn Shotgun, I had Coolant Canisters with me and after heating Corn Shotgun to enter the Popcorn mode which deals less damage and has a lower fire rate, I encountered the Phoenix Chickens, they aimed their fireballs at me and they hit me, the problem here is that it is supposed to overheat me, but I had Coolant Canisters, so my heat gauge should Reset and the fire rate becomes normal again, right? But here is the catch, it reset my heat gauge, but it actually locked the fire rate of the corn shotgun (while on Corn Mode) to be exactly like How it will behave when it is on Popcorn mode, Overdriving or Releasing the Accumulated energy (if you’re using Accumulator) doesn’t work either, to get back to normal, all what you have to do is Release the fire button (where you’re supposed to shoot) and it will set back to normal
The Problem here is that this bugged interaction only happens if you have Coolant Canisters, and a fireball from a Phoenix Chicken hit you while using Corn Shotgun on max heat (Popcorn mode)
Here are some footages of what I have found (please don’t mind my modded font and weapon):
@InterAction_studios please fix this bug in the next update, this is the 3rd bug I have found this month ![]()
