Welcome back to my another topic. Today is a new weapon concept in Bio Group (Organic Group)!
Equipping with Fungus Splitter gives player ability to launch container bombs with a mix of extreme poisonous spores and fungal toxin inside. The bomb can explode with a quite small splash damage and release 5 small projectiles like the 3rd one. Here’s the projectile overview.
The container bombs (main projectile) has a moderately fast speed. Five small projectiles after the explosion will only go forward in random directions (that means there’s no spit going back to player position).
This’s the cone angle range of these spits. They can travel outward 90 degree in both sides.

Now we go into the shooting mechanism. In all power levels, there’s only 1 bomb will be shot after pressing the fire button 1 time.
The mechanism of this weapon will be a bit different from those of most weapon in the game. Instead of having a constant reloading time after each shot while holding the fire button, in this 11th level of the weapon, there’ll be a much longer delay after fring 4 bombs consecutively, like the image below.
Another property of this shooting mechanism is that each main projectiles can travel in 3 random different directions.
This is the power levels list (without the direction fluctuation). After each power level, there’re slight changes in the number of bombs that can be shot consecutively and the delay after those continuous shots.
