Summary
The wave was basically a meteor storm but meteors were comets with terminator AI (but with comet speed).
After around 30 comets the wave repeated the same randomized pattern but mirrored.

This is actually great. No kidding. At first, It looks like your worst nightmare and almost impossible to beat but if you glance at it further this seems really easy.
