Wave Idea: Marble Factory šŸŖ©

Hi Everyone, :wave:

Hereā€™s a new wave idea from me, I call it Marble Factory.

The way it works is pretty simple:



The wave takes some inspiration from the Donkey Kong Arcade game but with a tiny twist:
Instead of avoiding the Barrels - or in this case Marbles - by climbing ladders up and down, you instead have to duck down into the gaps provided to you in order to not get run over by them.

The Marbles will continuously roll downhill from where they are thrown and fall down where the Player is at the start of the wave. (The Marbles are pretty speedy so you best get into a gap as soon as possible if you donā€™t wanna get crushed.)

The wave is built entirely out of Indestructible barriers and a new Marble/Barrel barrier, (could also just be an Indestructible egg barrier but big enough so you canā€™t just fly above it and cheese.)

There is only one enemy in this wave, the chicken seen at the top is the one in charge of the Factory, and its goal is to stop you from rescuing Pauline the Satellites within the Alien Container.

Its will work like this?

No itā€™s just one Marble, I wanted to visualize it being thrown from further away, and becoming bigger (basically its normal size) as it approaches the camera.

(Yes the Chicken is able to lift up that heavy ass Marble with its wings, very stronk)

i think of calling it Marble Run

I am curious to ask but i am going share some my questions to this suggestion.

after you reaching the final anomaly then you have to kill this chicken and the alien container or just individual enemy?

how it will handle that chicken to try summon marble barrier in later diffculties? possibly in seconds of speed amount?

The wave works similarly to ā€˜ā€˜Hairpin Turnā€™ā€™, so you have to kill both the Chicken and also destroy the Alien Container, it will not despawn like in other waves.

The Chicken throws more/less marbles depending on how high/low the difficulty is.

I doubt IA would make a wrecking ball design for a specific stage. So, instead of a marble, a shrunken orb like whatā€™s seen in Exclusion Zone can suffice.

Idea: in harder waves, some of the sideways barriers can be replaced by invincible lv 4 barriers (the ones that can shoot)

Hmm having just 1 chicken in a single wave after doing the parkour is so unrewarding. I recommend to replace the marble with bubble chicken or something. Itā€™s a vague idea which can be more specific but I canā€™t thinkā€¦

Maybe keep the the wave gimmick and collect it for a different type of mission like ā€œPuzzleā€ which award you differently. I just think this wave us to different from the classic ones.

I like but IDK why this level has new things that we never seen lol!

Not recycling available items is a sin. We can replace the ā€œmarbleā€ with unbreakable Egg barrier.

Actually a chickenaut-sized barrier ball is an amazing thing in this wave
