Hi guys, i’m back with another topic with 3 new waves :>. Well let’s start!
All of these wave will be zoomed out and be encountered at 60% difficulty and above.
1) Falling Blocks
At the beginning, three line of laser will appear and be arranged like this:
Enemies inside destructible barriers blocks and other obstacle will show up from the top left corner, they will travel in the path which is guided by three laser lines.
At the end of each line, these “blocks” will fall down, then they will either continue travelling or fall out of the screen if they passed the third laser line.
Here are some image at the middle of the wave.
There are 3 types of block in this wave. The 2nd contains an exploding block which can deal a blast 5 times larger than its size if you shoot it.
2) Unbalanced Scale
This wave has the ‘rotary gear’ introduce in version 154 in the middle of the scale. Player direction will be rotated 180 degree at the beginning. Here’s how it look.
If you shoot the gear, it will switch it lower side to the higher side and vice versa.
There will be total 120 enemies in this wave (40 for each subwave, 20 for each side of the scale). After you kill all enemies in a subwave, a new enemies layout will emerge from the bottom and quickly refill both sides of the scale.
Note: Although both sides have the same number of enemies (20), this scale beam will always be in the diagonal line. That why it’s called unbalanced scale. Quite ironic, right? : D
3) Shield Wall
Before we go into this wave, let me introduce to you another new obstacle: The flickering barrier.
This barrier has two states and it will continually change its states in a permanently looped sequence. Here is the wave concept.
There will be multiple of rectangular formations appear from the top of the screen, which include indestructible barriers, flickering barriers and 16 enemies. They’ll travel at a slow speed.
Here’s how flickering barriers work in this wave:
it will take 3 seconds for these barriers to change their states. But the delaying time can be varied in other waves.
Note: They can be named temporary barrier, unstable barrier, or something like that…
Alright i’m gotta end this topic here, what do you think about these waves? :>
