after service pack 1 Vista was improved by alot. I jumped from Windows 2000 to Vista in 2013 which was literally my most favorite moment by far! I had better memories of Vista than 7 btw. But sadly I never used XP during my childhood ;(

Vista is NT 6.0.6001. Seven is NT 6.1.7600. These are different.
7, 8 and 8.1 are only grouped as one because a lot of regular apps are compatible with all three. However, 8, for example, removed the support for old DirectDraw, which is why CI1 and CI2 don’t work correctly out of the box. Just because people group them doesn’t mean they are identical (or there wouldn’t be any point in naming them differently in the first place). For a user with “Windows” in his nickname, it’s surprising to be unaware of that, to be fair.
7 was superior in any aspect except for a few design choices, and even then 7 was considered a heavy system (yet lighter than Vista).
Its just a .1 upgrade & like Windows 2000 & XP being 5.0 & 5.1 even though their performance are like 10% different

Bro I want to see how Vista works in CIU. Its basically like someone needs help on how to run GTA 4 on Windows 2000 & you say to just upgrade to Windows 11

CIU is new, while Windows Vista is very old, so that’s why it isn’t working. The older CI versions still work because they were made for older operating systems.
