No it doesn’t - I regularly use hardpoints and have over a hundred of these medals, unless it got changed with the update.
HUD stuff will, though. (Unfortunately)
When you first see a Slob Chicken:
- Aww…, but why it’s so big?
- Whoa, fat chicken?
When you get hit by it’s bullets: - Well that’s not cute.
When you encounter it… a lot: - This again?
- The bigger the better!

It would be 6 quips while 5 of them you would never see.
When grazing near a sun (like from Henterprise’s) without a heat sink:
“Ow, ow, ouch… so hot!”
When destroying any boss except for the chicken bosses, eg: Military Chicken, Party Chicken, Big Chicken, Super-Chick, etc:
“Rest in Pieces!”
