New Wave Idea: Chicken Javelins

Wow, it has been a long time since I last posted a wave idea and that is July 9, 2020.

Anyways I would like to present this wave idea in CIU called Chicken Javelin

There will be a danger zone presented at the bottom of the screen before the waves start.

Two chickens will form a line that appears at the bottom and will aim themselves at the top of the screen depending on what direction they are going (the green line being the destination). After 1 second of appearing, they will launch themselves toward the top at a random speed (from medium to fast) and stay there for the rest of the wave.

When the chicken javelins reach the top it will appear to be a 5-7 enemy chicken line (so 2 chickens initially appear with 3-5 chickens behind it off-screen). If the whole chicken javelin lingers there for more than 3.5 seconds another javelin will appear to launch. If you can manage to kill them all before 3.5 seconds then another chicken javelin will immediately appear. The higher the difficulty the more javelins can appear (from a minimum of 7 to a maximum of 15).

Only the chickens and chick will appear as the 2 chickens initially appear
to avoid spawn shooting.
You can put a lowest-level barrier on each end of the chicken javelin to act as the sharp point of a javelin tightly packed near the chickens.
At very high difficulty (let’s say 90% and higher) two chicken javelins will appear instead of one and the javelins count will remain the same.

This is just Ricochet/Acrobatics etc mixed with a regular alien-invaders wave. Interesting and probably easy to execute, but it feels a bit different since it goes from fast to slow.

Chicken javelins seem awesome. Let’s hope for 2 things 1: it gets implemented 2: the chickens don’t become all UFOs in incredibly fast speed in SSH difficulty
