During attacking the enemies, you will receive a small boost from the spacecraft by either chance or reaching a specific standard. Here’s three boost you can get, all of them has the same possibility:
Before a buff is earned, there will be a special indication around the ship with the color of the shield for a short period of time, like this:
After that, one of three boosts will be given to the player, along with a special effect flashing up to indicate what boost you’ve got. Later there will be a glowing effect that will last as long as the duration of a specific boost.
Well I wonder if some of the people would want a light spacecraft type which is a bit more effective in combating than BX : D, yet the price must be quite expensive.

^ About the abilities, I thought a way to implement them would be to give one of them to each spacecraft model in the family in order to give each model a unique trait.
If we’re going off similar max power levels such as H&Cs or VFs ( 10 - 9 - 8,)
then maybe the Damage buff ability could be given to the model with 10,
the Coolant ability could be given to the model with 9,
the Shield ability could be given to the model with 8.
Charging these abilities over the amount of kills you make seems like the best way to go about it,
I don’t really like something activating randomly, and as for the other condition which is activating after reaching a specific number of shots, weapons that don’t have many projectiles would struggle trying to reach the required number of shots, unless the amount of shots could be lowered for those weapons.
Overall, this is an interesting idea, but I think this would work better as a rework for the VFs, as their current ability sucks and hasn’t been changed for a long time, something like this could make them more useful. (They are called Space Superiority after all.)
Well, for the most expensive family of all types with the reputation of ‘supremacy’, i think this’s a good change : D.
To be honest, on one hand, it could be better if VF actually have another supplement ability like this. On the other hand, i want to separate VF and another spacecraft family with different unique ability, the first with environment resistance and the latter with some small fighting boosts like the above.
In sum it’s hard for me to tell which the best choice out there. Additionally, before i write this idea out, I also have some idea for VF to make this family much more effective, which is giving its max power but extending firepowers limit to reach the maximum, such as (10 + 14), (10 + 16), (10 + 18) for respectively, VF-56, VF-66, VF-76.
The H&C family is the first family the player starts with and has limited firepower. If it is unlimited, it will not force the player to buy other spacecraft and will make the spacecraft less important. But I feel that the VF family is very little used and this is due to its high price and its limited firepower that really needs a buff in order for it to become great.
Love the idea, but here is some twists:
The shield duration should last 1.5 secs (unsure) 4 secs shield duration is way too OP, especially you are doing DT
The dmg buff is the same as dmg amp special weapon but only last 4 secs
The coolant buffs should reset 50% amount the heat on the heat bar Also make the ship max power is 10+10 but the moving is like BX family
Hmm… I think that maybe it should last at least 2s, 1.5 may still be seem kinda short. This may still depend on the cooldown time at the poll above. It maybe 3s or a bit higher if the cooldown time is above 10s.
And damn! 50% deduction of the heatbar is a cool feature, why didn’t i even think about this lmfao.
