Alright… Feature ideas seem quite hard to be taken into consideration, however I still wanna try to create a topic about this. This idea was in my mind several days ago, now I had time to deliver it out. Enjoy reading this.
1) Overview
So what are these? To simplify, Magical Effect is one of the items that gives random advantage to players. This kind of item is different from others, as they can’t be bought in conventional Galatic Store. Moreover, you can’t purchase this directly, instead you have to get this through an item which can be sold at only Fortune Teller: Foreshade Box.
These boxes look like some gacha things, where you will get one random effect from them for each purchase. Higher rarity box contains better effect.
As I say above, these boxes won’t be sold in Galactic Store, only from Fortune Teller. But not all of these regional stores sell these boxes, because they’ll appear in different locations, and their position will change every 21 days.
Only random 82/115 Fortune Tellers will sell Uncommon Box; 46/115 will sell the Rare one; 9/115 will sell the last.
Note: If you got all effects from a rarity type, then you can’t purchase the box of that type anymore. Also, these effects can’t be sold.
2) Screen Indicator
Most of these Magical Effects will be shown in the screen if they take action, some of them have duration too. Here’s how it looks like.
However, there might be some exception. Instead of being shown in the screen, several effects which is detrimental to enemies will be shown directly right on them. Here’s the example of the Stagnation and Radioactive Corrosion. (The two last legendary effects)
3) Effect List
Here are some example of Magical Effects. Note that an effect will only belong to one type of rarity. That means if an effect is belong to Uncommon type, it doesn’t have another version of Rare or Legendary type.
Note: You can bring only maximum 6 effects. Effects can be customized in mission config.
So i’m about to end my topic here, what do you think of this?
- Neutral
- Too overpowered
- Too underpowered (Negligible effect)
- Hard to purchase
Any other thoughts can be expressed in the comment section below. Goodbye!
