Well, you can already upgrade your weapon to level 8 in shop and buying power-ups from shop would make the levels way too easy, since you could get to level 20 from the start.
I already suggested it, and as for the level 20 thing, I thought of it giving you +levels, that would not count towards max power, only to levels 1-10.
