Technically, most games can be ported to Xbox. porting requires access to the source code, alot of developers effort and approval via the ID@Xbox program. modern engines do make it easier, hardware limitations or engine incompatibility can make porting some games impossible / expensive.

  • Engine & Compatibility
  • Controls Adaptation

Note: You cannot directly install Steam or native Windows .exe games onto an Xbox console
