Now that the V160 update is getting close, it’s finally time for me to think of wave adjustments:
The Gateway: instead of the barriers move around in an arch upon switch trigger, let them move vertically upon switch trigger
Laser Matrix: let the laser chicks and barrier sphere move vertically/horizontally when switching positions, and make the anomaly zone slightly larger
Effervescence (?) : make that wave uncheesable by fully blocking both safe sides, but restrict all three saucer enemies from entering that wave
Splat: allow any enemy to show up except for gatling/laser chick
Corridor shooter: shorten the wave length by four less set of enemies
Out of nowhere: extend the wave length by two more set of enemies
These are my initial ideas for wave tweaking and balancing to make them more interesting and more balanced, there are more in my mind but I’ll wait for some first impressions
Not suffering really, I wanted the wave to be played fairly rather than wait for 30 seconds on either side, while also make it more fair by disallowing any UFO enemies due to their bubble hitboxes, okay maybe a slight suffering with toxic or coward chicken, we can let the community decide whether to disallow element enemies or not from this wave if it comes uncheesable
Some waves can end up boring, hence I suggested it be nice to shorten the wave a bit, again we can gather the community’s thoughts about this wave
Yes, absolutely, chickenauts/armors/slobs fill up the white thing surrounding the yolk (I think it’s called albumen), the perfect chance to add another possibility for an epic wave, as for the yolk itself inside the barriers, they should make it where gatling/laser chicks can show up inside if the mission difficulty is high enough
When this is disabled while in mission, it disables all sort of notifications that pop up at the top right of the screen, but important messages like dares, new squadron missions, new squadron, new contact, etc.. still make that “Ding” sound effect even though this option is disabled.
