bro he has NOT have unlocked that skill level yet ![]()
This is a plan for their own model so they can animate it.
Looks like my model won’t be used for anything, not even as a base.
awe >:/
By the way, procrastinating but I was thinking of learning animation in Blockbench.
Maybe I’m not the best, but I’m working hard to get back to the series I abandoned many years ago. I was actually working on that same design, but I honestly think it looks awful.
I’ll try to make a better sketch, more faithful to the original designs, and if I have your permission, Pinanas, would you let me use your designs to work on and make something better? A new idea for the arms and body in better balance with the original designs ![]()
By the way, if you know anyone who does 3D printing, I’ll give them this model I made a few years ago. It works, and when you press the head, the wings move.
I would recommend Blender because of the variety of features and levels of use it offers. Be patient, though; it takes time. There are many resources and tutorials available online, and its community has grown significantly. Blockbench is good, but very lightweight, although excellent if you want to create assets for video games. ![]()
First minor model, this one isn’t actually a model but a recreation of the logo:
It’s actually a pretty close one and better than I expected, It’s also very customizable (In Blender only) where you can change what’s typed pretty easily in Edit Mode:
As usual the link of the models is here:
If the project shows squares instead of the normal letters make sure you’ve installed this font:
I was messing around with Blender until, I found a way to bend the wings like this:
Here’s how you do it real quick:
Tutorial
First select the wing, press the blue “modifiers” icon:
Then press add modifier and select search and then search for “Simple Deform”. here’s how it should look like now:
Now we don’t get that bend effect, will get in soon, now choose the “Bend” section. and select Z.
Not done yet. There’s a little section called Origin, choose it and choose the object clothes (or whatever object is in the center)
After you are happy the bend, select the down arrow (between the icons) and press apply. Now the wing will have that bend permanently, it’s good to make some poses in that way. It can be useful for example in making it hold something in its hands:
And that’s it for the tutorial! It took longer than I thought.
By the way, you have made the CIU’s galaxy.
Can you also make galaxy from episodes? (like CI5 was full blue)
These galaxies have cloud/smoke which I don’t know how to add them in 3D. I tried to add 2D textures before but you know how that went.
I can probably make 2D versions of these galaxies like how I did with CIU one.
It would be better if you included the post directly instead of copying the images (to also mention the person who made the galaxies transparent):
oppss sorry i froget to mention
I wonder if you have plans for these models (all links send you to wiki)
-
Egg Bosses
Mother-Hen Ship
Mother-Hen Ship (CI2)
Mysterious Ship -
Chickens
Coward Chicken
Toxic Chicken
Baloon Chicken
UFO Chicken (easier if you do plan to make Shady Dealer / Alien)
UFO Chick (easier if you do plan to make Shady Dealer / Alien)
Slob Chicken
Pirate Chick
Berserk Chick -
Weapons
Hmmm… Maybe they’ll be remade I see they have simple shapes.
I was thinking about making piggly models, they seem to be simple too.
If I did the UFO itself (which looks already hard) everything else would be reusable, except for the clothes at the back, tentacles.
This one is straightforward that I ignored it. Mysterious Ship might be remade tho.
I kinda made them, you just need to change some colors which isn’t that hard.
Probably no, the shirt design doesn’t look that easy and I still have to make balloons in Blender.
I think the balloon is actually so easy but can’t say the same for the shirt.
I actually was working on that model but ended up cancelling it due to the details on belly, shirt design.
Already made. I didn’t think showcasing them was worth it.
Sorry to ask @Pinanas but… I wonder if it’s possible if you could port this to SFM/GMOD by any chance?
I didn’t work on these apps before, not sure if they support obj, mtl formats.
but the thing is… I’ve wanted to fuck around these models for fun when I’m either using SFM or Gmod (to toss these ragdolls around’n’such)
and I’m (not too) sure you can look up tutorials on how to port it someday
Really?
(I’m not deleting this, never!)
