if we compare the egg with the spaceship, yeah, the egg is very small, for the big spaceship it’s like a grain of sand, but in this game…meh, the spaceship is as small as an egg 
The ship’s length would be usually 7 meters, so the egg is aprox. 2.5 meters tall. Getting hit by that at any speed would kill an unprepared person. More that the egg is explosive.
