And now this error keeps coming and i cant play, cant even edit the game files i dont see ‘options.txt’
Something minor but still want to mention, in my opinion, using CIU bg as the main one doesn’t fit there. Especially at the main menu. It makes me feel it’s a prototype (similar to what CIU when it used CI5 bg as main)
I suggest it to be changed to a new background. But what’s your opinion?
Should CI Collection main starfield background be changed?
- Of course, I see CIU bg doesn’t fit there. Making it feel like a prototype.
- Nah, CIU bg fits there, also it’s not worth changing.

Also can the multiplayer section be disabled when there is a weak internet? I already see a bunch of errors but fortunately it doesn’t crash the game.
I guess the CIU bg fits given the context of all the episodes being upgraded to its engine, but that’s it really. No strong opinion on whether or not it should stay or not.
at least provide a solution if you don’t like the ciu bg, imo the ci1-ci5 bgs should cycle periodically
Is there can be next update official android play store/PC added multiplayer mode in CI Episodes 1-2-3-4-5 ?
I thought about either:
- A whole new background from scratch.
- UltraVolt infinite backgrounds
Didn’t add these choices as I didn’t know if the idea would be that acceptable, but I guess I’ll make a seperate poll above.

My XBOX Controller works well, no problems whatsoever
Game: CI 5
Bug: I press Esc/P button to pause the game, but after playing for a while, the pause menu doesn’t appear anymore and the game is still continuing. I have to restart the game.
I want to give suggestion: Please add skip button for skip tutorial missions for veteran/skilled players who just want to play the game immediately.

I don’t know how important it is since this is meant for the Xbox, but since the multiplayer will be backported it might be annoying there. If one of the pause menu buttons is focused/hovered/selected (either via keyboard, or just mouse positioning) and you press T, write a message, then press enter, that button will be pressed. Can easily leave the entire mission by accident like this. Maybe it would also be nice if you had to double press or had a confirmation before leaving?

For some reason, you have to buy the starting weapons (ions for ci3, boron for ci4, hypergun in ci5). The game does equip them for you but fsr they are still purchasable despite being default weapons. If you were to buy a different weapon and equip it, you’d probably be unable to switch back to the actual starter weapon till you buy it.

Minor idea: Make each episode banner has its own content updated depending on season.
E.g a chicken gets replaced with its own skin in-game.
Side thing but will the collection get a trailer or even its own banner? In my opinion the current 5 eggs one won’t fit.
I thought about 4 big chickens surround the logo.
Each chicken is from its own episode.

after playing episode 1 rookie(first time clear), the keys I farmed affected all episodes. Moreover the set up before gamestart is locked the starter weapon but it has its deafult starter weapon
I just realized that the music doesn’t fade in when resuming the game
If unlockables are also shared instead of being per episode then this should probably be accurate
So it’ll take at least 15-20 hours of playtime to get everything in the collection, double or triple the amount needed to get everything in standalone eps
CI3 might be potentially the worst episode while CI5 might be the best, they seem roughly equal

does someone have a fix to this?
Try to delete all stuff at “C:\ProgramData\InterAction studios\xbox_steam\steam\26”
This should reset all options.
Also the “option.txt” is called: xbox_steam.cfg

Also wondered how the achievements will work on xbox, will the achievements be per episode?
